After it’s launch in France, the LG Optimus F5 will be rolled out in South and Central America, Eastern Europe and Asia over the coming weeks.

However, there is still no news about the launch of LG Optimus F7 yet.

Coming to the specifications, the LG Optimus F5 runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and gets a 4.3-inch qHD IPS display which offers a pixel density of 256 pixels per inch. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

The specs sheet for the LG Optimus F5 also includes 8GB of on-board storage, with a micro-SD card slot for storage expansion by up to 32GB. The smartphone gets a 5 megapixel camera at the back, along with a 1.3 megapixel shooter at the front.

Samsung is readying a new variant of its Galaxy S4 for June, according to the Wall Street Journal.
As reported earlier this week, the OEM is developing a rugged version of its flagship Android smartphone dubbed Galaxy S4 “Active,” which will look similar to the original but boast waterproofing and a sturdier chassis.

This is the first time that Samsung has ruggedized its most high-end smartphone, and is doing so to appeal to a relatively untapped market; as smartphones replace larger, more cumbersome pieces of technology,
they become more essential to have with us at all times, regardless of where we are. People who work in hazardous or unpredictable environments often require extra cases and utilities to keep their phones safe,
but external covers fail, and having a phone designed with such use cases in mind can extend its life tremendously.

Earlier this year, Sony unveiled the Xperia Z, a high-end device that is water- and dustproof. It’s proven quite popular everywhere in the world, and is rumoured to be Sony’s most successful Android device to date.
Devices like the Sony Xperia Go are examples of rugged smartphones, but their specs don’t equal their might in many ways.

Samsung is also expected to debut yet another 8-inch tablet, though this one will lack the Note branding and S Pen, and likely come in well below the $399USD MSRP of the Note 8.0.
hat, along with a smaller Galaxy S4 Mini, will debut alongside the Galaxy S4 Active, says the WSJ.

Another smartphone is soon to be unvailed by Sony Mobiles.
Xperiablog got some information that Sony will soon announce and launch the Xperia ZR smartphone with a 720p display, a quad-core processor and a 13MP camera.
The Sony Xperia ZR will share lots of features with the Xperia Z flagship - a quad-core 1.5GHz processor (Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset), 2GB of RAM and a 13MP Exmor RS camera. Impressively,
the Xperia ZR will be and even better protected, featuring IP58 rating for resistance under 1.5 meters of water for prolonged time. It will be dust proof too.
The Sony Xperia ZR 720p screen will reportedly measure 4.6" in diagonal, its internal memory will be 8GB, while the battery will have 2300mAh capacity. The Xperia ZR is rumored to be 10mm thick and to weigh 140 grams. Also we can expect the shell to be similar to the Xperia ZL one rather than the dual-glass Xperia Z body.
If this info is indeed true we guess the official announcement should happen soon.
The phone is supposed to be the mid-range smartphone with a good specifications. And soon it will be officially announced by Sony mobiles.

While Samsung is doing all that it can to promote it’s latest flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4, but simultaneously, the company is also focusing on bringing more affordable devices to the market.

One of such devices rumored to be in the works, the Samsung Galaxy Core has now leaked online, thanks to the Russian website hi-tech.mail.ru.

According to the leak, the Samsung Galaxy Core will feature a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 768MB of RAM. Also, there’s 8GB of storage on-board along with a micro-SD card slot to further expand the storage space on the smartphone.

In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy core is expected to feature a 5 megapixel rear snapper, but there is no information about a front camera on the smartphone. For connectivity, it will get the usual set of features like Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. The smartphone will also pack-in a 1,800mAh battery.

The smartphone will most probably run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top and will measure at 129.3 x 67.56 x 8.95 mm while weighing 140 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy Core is expected to hit Russian and Chinese markets by mid-May for a price of about 320 euros, which roughly translates too Rs.22,500 in India. However, there is still no word about it’s availability in other countries around the world.

Samsung galaxy note 510

First announced at the Mobile World Congress back in February, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was launched in India last month as the Galaxy Note 510, and the tablet is now finally up for pre order via Samsung’s official online store.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 510 can be pre booked for a price of Rs.30,900 and as a special pre-booking offer, Samsung is also giving away a book cover worth Rs.2,699 along with the Note 510 for free.
Essentially a rival to the iPad Mini, the new 8 inch marvel from Samsung sports a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution TFT display amounting to a pixel density of 189 pixels per inch. Built along the lines of previous tablets with a plastic chassis, the Galaxy Note 510 has an Exynos 4 Quad processor set at 1.6GHz with 2GB RAM. The Galaxy Note 8 will also be capable of handling full Phone calls and Video calls directly from the unit itself, and it does have an earpiece.
The Galaxy Note 510 also has WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, GLONASS and HSPA+ 21 (850/900/1900/2100MHz). On the inside of the Note 8 is up to 32GB of internal storage (microSD expansion separate), a nice and large 4,600mAh battery. The Galaxy Note 510 will come with version 4.1.2 of Jelly Bean onboard and the new TouchWiz Nature UX.
The 8-inch iPad Mini rival houses a 5 MP Rear and 1.3 MP front facing camera, with the rear capable of full HD video at 1080p.
The pre-booking for the Galaxy Note 510 starts on the eve of Galaxy S4′s launch in India and it seems that Samsung wishes to take both, the smartphone and the tablet market by storm at the same time.

Samsung galaxy S4

Looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S4 in India through multiple channels.  The much anticipated Android phone will be launched at Reliance Digital Stores  across India on April 27th with a launch party for pre-booking customers in the evening in Mumbai. Certain outlets have started pre-bookings since yesterday. We had reported today morning about the Galaxy S4 going on sale on Samsung’s official online store on 27th.

Regarding the launch party on the 27th in Mumbai,  Actor Ranveer Singh is expected to launch the Galaxy S4 along with Samsung’s VP Asim Warsi and  Brian Bade ,  CEO of Reliance Digital.
Samsung has enjoyed huge success with the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 in India and has included India in the initial launch phase of the S4 to tap the market demand. Samsung is reducing/doing away with the exclusivity period for Samsung Smartphone cafes and eStore for the Galaxy S4 as indicated by BGR.in. Couple of regular mobile dealerships  we spoke to confirmed that they are getting stocks by Sunday or Monday.

Pricing has still not been revealed but we expect the phone to be priced at around Rs.40000-43000. The official launch event is taking place in Delhi tomorrow afternoon and we should be reporting from the ground with all the details. Are you going to pick up the Galaxy S4 or the HTC One ?
